I hesitate to say something so definitive as "all religions are bad" buuuut I can't think of a single one that wasn't awful. Even the ones I enjoy the mythology of were/are pretty horrific.

I got a PC about 2 months ago & I've been eyeing PC Cyberpunk. I never got all the way through when playing on PS5, even though I was loving it. But if I restart...I think I might try the corpo route. OxO

and they smoked the cheapest garbage on the market. Like, what's the point? Then they got into vaping & we all loved making weird but delicious smelling combinations. And I vastly prefer that.

I rarely smoke but when I do I'm obnoxiously snooty about it. Like if I'm going to risk cancer for a vice, I'm not settling for anything but the best.
But my friends used to smoke often (I don't see them in person much anymore so idk if they still do)

I like both. Hard to beat the smell of super high quality tobacco. But most cigarettes smell like shite so I often prefer the pleasant smells associated with vapes. Like blueberry waffles or creme brulee. XD

Imma be real. I think you've made a mountain out of a mole hill. I have never once heard anyone stereotype Au Ra as illiterate. Players making their personal character illiterate, yeah. Even some headcanoning specific tribes as being low literacy. But not across the board. Ever.
