Not the Hurricane more of a mild wind. Music, anything Arty or Sporty. LUFC, England CC, Comedy, Pubs, Ale and all things things Nature.
Swerling Stratospheric Psych tonight from The ace Besnard Lakes at the Brudenell. Soaring guitar work and vocals alike. Marvelous weekend closer.

Echo and the Bunnymen, on my doorstep. Very very excited by this. Never quite sure what seminal means but they are surely?

Right, Pub time. They say it isn't big or clever but I was a Center Half with O-Levels so that's wrong #lufc

I was asking for trouble when I put Mark Kozelek, Live at Biko on an hour ago. Now I've got it. Man it's melancholic.
What's he up to these days?

Plucky Brits taking all the fall out of the Epstein Files. Kind of makes you proud.
February 1, 2026 at 6:02 PM
Well, close enough, that'll do
February 1, 2026 at 5:42 PM
Right Forest and Palace. Let's make this a frantic 0-0 affair. 12 minutes of gruelling added time please, blood, guts, cramps, cards galore,at least three of them Red and hopefully some crowd scenes football can do without.

Birds galore all week @rspbengland.bsky.social .
Blue Tits, Wren, long tailed Tits, Robins, Jackdaws,Jays,Magpies, pigeons,Blackbirds even a Pheasant but today in the incessant gloomy rain, zilch. Got to report it in of course but can't help feeling it isn't a true representation.

Spurs in massive trouble, only two points above #lufc. Manager surely on the brink.

January 18, 2026 at 5:43 PM
And now of course the whole world has heard about his grotty AI tool. I imagine he's feeling pretty pleased about that.
January 15, 2026 at 7:45 AM
Been doing some research for #lufc. Apparently there are another 4 rounds before the FA Cup final and that isn't until May. I mean blimey, they stretch it out a bit don't they.
January 12, 2026 at 8:57 AM
Eh up Norwich. Hope you've stocked up on those scarves.
January 11, 2026 at 5:59 PM
Giddy here about our cup run #lufc
January 11, 2026 at 4:47 PM
Some nights only Rory Gallagher will do. Tonight's one of them. Peerless perfection. Went too young.
January 9, 2026 at 7:07 PM
If you can't win, don't lose. Very proud of my team #lufc, not something I've said a lot these last 20 years.
January 4, 2026 at 2:29 PM
No regrets this year other than missing Pete Perret at the Brudenell. Otherwise another virtuous sin free 12 months under the belt.

I think, apart from the footy, watching Shack's encore tonight at the Brudenell a mere yard or so away is the finest ten minutes I've had this year. Rest of it pretty good too mindst.

Great to be back in the Vic behind the Town Hall yesterday. A beautiful pub sensitively refurbished with all the Victorian features. Hats off to all involved, Kirkstall, Whitelock’s etc.
December 7, 2025 at 5:02 PM
Incidentally, any Sociology students wanting to study working class solidarity, community spirit and one club togetherness I recommend you don't join the R2 bus queue on a rainy Saturday night before a #lufc game.
December 7, 2025 at 4:23 PM
Adiós Porridge Radio then. A fitting farewell tonight at the Brudenell.
