For some reason, flights from Dallas to Charlotte the weekend of Dec. 5-7 are ridiculously expensive. Probably three- or four-times more expensive than the trip to media days back in July.
Won't be a cheap trip for fans (or local media ✌️) if SMU makes the ACC championship.

Mikko Rantanen has never been suspended in his 11 seasons in the NHL. His first suspension could be coming tomorrow after a gruesome hit. That was hard to watch.

SMU — the team no one would allow in a power conference for 40 years — is now one win away from making the ACC championship game for the second consecutive year in just its second year in the conference. That is an unbelievable feat.

SMU certainly did its part by putting itself in this situation, but having your conference championship hopes in the hands of Boston College and Pitt and watching some of these horrific decisions over the last two weeks must be extremely painful.
