Life is good, got in an early morning (beautiful sunrise) hill sprint ride (8.6 miles, elevation gain 880 ft) yesterday and went out for lunch later in the day. Grilled Halibut with capers, grilled asparagus/balsamic glaze & garlic spinach. #bikesky 🍜

Too much in 8th gear, now that’s a new one 🤔. From my maintenance class (2012) notes, typically chains are replaced between 1000 -2000 miles and after 3 chain replacements it’s time to install a new cassette. This formula has worked well for me (only elevation sprint rides) over the years. #cycling

Smart move, great to keep our pets safe. I collected several dozen Brugmansias (Solanaceae) from work (hort/bot research) over my career but eventually ended up removing them from my home garden. They did put on quite a show & the evening wafting perfume from the flowers (pics) was so amazing. 🌱
