Absolutely...all those Judge Hardy films cast a veil over his prodigious talent as an actor. I'm particularly fond of his work in Grand Hotel.

The ratchet effect of first conservative, then more radical decision making by the major networks led us to this place, where there is no opportunity for centrist, let alone progressive, voices being heard on mainstream American media.

Well worth watching. Interesting twisty plot, Paul Muni at his best, Raines as a bargain making devil. Altogether a fun film with a little social commentary.
