I think they convinced some that green energy is a scam. But they convinced a lot more people to vote for them for other reasons. Those people were not convinced about energy. Sadly they overlooked the BS.

Bingo. if there are enough EVs and local batteries, discharging 10% at a time would make a big difference. We can all take turns discharging. 1 gazillion short duration units discharging in tranches turns into long duration.
