That isn't the main point of the BBC scandal, and you are disingenuous to present it this way. There are plenty of clean hits to be made, don't waste your credibility.

Based on the video presented this is an easy lawsuit. But how did they know to be filming at the moment the car was sprayed? Was the crew in the truck already causing a scene?

Maybe they're hedging in case they can't convert to a for-profit or something.

Doesn't the best excerpt say that this has _not_ happened? So good, right?

I think I am in agreement here, pardon power should be removed from the executive branch or limited to one person per term if it must be kept. Let's get lawmakers to fix laws if they aren't working out instead.

This seems at least a little decent, assuming we get past the first offense of attacking anyone in international waters at all. Truly evil move would be to kill them and then there's no story that reaches our eyes at all. I wonder what the internal conversation went like

I think I agree with your ideas here, but with one modification: it isn't about how many people are protesting, but about how much impact they are having on citizens who are not protesting. Set aside any violence or vandalism, a group of 5 folks could block a key freeway exit all day. Is it ok?

And why are we ok with slave labor? Maybe iphones need to cost $6,000 then?

But let's peel that onion another layer or two: Why does it cost $6,000 to do it here? Why doesn't it cost $6,000 there too?
What can we do to level the playing field? Wide tariffs will not solve these problems, but targeted ones on industries that we would like to bring home might help.
