To put that into yet more perspective: In the chart below, the purple area is too early (the law does not exist) and the red part is too late (the Supreme Court's newest Purcell principle). The pink bit is both too early and too late. The green part is when you should sue.

Unfortunately Trump could undercut this strategy by saying he will pardon everyone in his administration. It's lower stakes, but I think a better message is "undo everything and go back to normal" (e.g., tear down ballroom, repeal every Trump EO on Day 1, fire all ICE personnel hired by Trump, etc.)

If he had an iota of morals he would not vote for Trump or caucus with Republicans. Why are we still pretending that he is anything but a sack of shit with a medical degree?

People get “utility” from ChatGPT because the service is provided to them for free or deeply subsidized. You can’t extrapolate that usage forever because eventually the LLMs will go bankrupt. The number of people who will pay just a breakeven amount is essentially zero.

The great thing about this plan is that it requires constant maintenance because the particles fall out of the sky. Shut down the program entirely and all effects from it would be completely gone within two years. Nothing about it is permanent.
