I mean to be fair to my beloved Sonic Rumble, it may be money grabbing to the extreme but it doesn't really have any gacha elements. You can't pay to get the chance of drawing a high tier character by random for example.

Tangent but I think the two worst changes were both in season 3: re-editing to keep that freedom fighter alive who died with Rouge and Shadow, and brutally wholesale removing the Vector/Vanilla bit from the last ep

It's been at the top of my 'Today's News' since the revelation. Usually those three news picks are heavily editorialised to appeal to the right. Could it be a geo thing since I'm in Australia?

Thanks for this, it adds some much needed context to the whole thing. Agree that as much as I want to shit on WB for literally anything, "fired because I announced I had Parkinson's" seems off, or at least reductive. It's not going to stop the endless stream of traction this narrative is getting tho
