A good day of Rural Dean duties today (though I’ve not technically started yet) as we rehearsed for the licensing of Rev’d Richard Turk in the beautiful St Mary’s church at Elsing. And there was sunshine too!

In sunny Birmingham today for a meeting of the trustees for the association of festival churches.

Lovely to be back on home turf today at my old school, St Christopher’s High School in Accrington, to celebrate my Dad’s 42 years as a governor (19 as chair of governors). A wonderful occasion and here’s to a happy retirement. @blackburn.anglican.org
