I worked at Saul nurseries which introduced soft caress mahonia. Glad to see another fellow gardener.

I've worked in landscaping/gardening for 35 years and I've never heard of this shrub/perennial. I'm in the southeast in the north Georgia mountains. You learn something new everyday. I will definitely plant this with caryopteris and blue ice cypress in my cool color garden. Thanks for the intro.

It's totally a hobby. I actually do garden work. I design and implement gardens sometimes. Approaching 60 and having done this work for 30 years, the job takes its toll physically. I can do it just need more breaks.
