This week’s #SewAndTell is projects made from scraps. I had a scrap-busting frenzy this past spring. Made swimsuits (posted earlier), #SimplicityPatterns 3634 tank tops, and zippered bags (ala craftsy's beginning serger class)

One of the best things about being in an international server is that if I mention that I live in Bear Country (CO), the Australians all howl about how we need to shut up about Aussie wildlife, because THEIR large carnivores mostly stay in the water, NOT INVITE THEMSELVES INTO THE KITCHEN. (🧵1/?)

Auction buttons washed and (almost all) sorted with my existing stash. Thanks JoAnn for the $1.30 organizers. Husband pointed out there is no way I'll use them all before I die. ROFL. I always add pockets to garments....guess I'll be adding buttons now too.

Decided to delay sewing lingerie. Instead I'm using up leftovers by sewing swimsuits. McCalls 8813 with two mods - lengthened the boyshort legs 3" and used a crossover waistband from another view.
