You might have to buy in bulk, then freeze them.

The tabouli and basic burritos were always top notch.

That is such depressing news. Beth and I lived on that corner for the better part of 8 years. Beans was the go-to place for us for a long time. We had a roommate who worked there who came home with a stack of bistro plates that they were replacing. We used them for many years. What a great place.

WTF?! That sucks.

Ah, that was a RSD gig at Acme. That’s why the bins were there. A nice low key affair.

Bigger question: Did Kareem ever play for the Lightning?

I love that show. Every episode had a car chase, sketchy surveillance, Rockford impersonating someone in an effort to get intel, cops doubting him, then a fist fight and/or gunfight then resolution and arrest. It’s brilliant.

Don’t do Jim Rockford dirty like that. It’s bad karma.

Thanks, Peter! Yea, Nick is awesome. His new lathe-cut EP as Phase Machines is great.

Personally, it makes no difference to me what an artist uses. It comes down to the music itself. How does it move me? How does it make me feel? What is the artist's motive or integrity behind the work? I'm fascinated to try to identify the source material before I read the credits.

I also promise to keep the dual account posts to a minimum - so most stuff will come from me for the time being, and not the @dryhouseruins.bsky.social account. But please follow us there if you so desire.

This is very DIY, so vinyl is limited to MKE & WI for now. Feel free to reach out if you are interested in copies for your store, and we'll make it happen. Or if you want to review it, or want a copy for your radio show, etc. We'll make it happen!

Frankie! That album was in frequent rotation on my parent’s stereo.

It’s probably my least favorite song of theirs. So I’d prefer every third Friday if I’m being honest.
