YES!!!!! it's genuinely concerning to see how the audience treats Ellen's trauma, to see people being unable to comprehend it. The movie is NOT shy about Ellen's abuse, it's barely a metaphor, it's explicit and yet all I've seen last week were people making weird jokes and making Ellen
