want to say that the importance of the discourse for me, is that we are having real conversations about equitable healthcare. Access to HC is 1st Tier - gotta get there. Equitable HC is that 2nd Tier that I fear we will slog thru - but must do so to *get to* woke HC.

I see "woke" as a dynamic process - something can be on the path of woke - but can't think of anything that *is* woke. I think healthcare is on the path, bc we are having a continuous discourse about impacts to all people. And I hope we are learning, empathizing & ready to vote on HC for all.

I hadn't had an MMR booster since about 1995. I was worried that if I needed one at any point during the next 4 yrs - that the vaccine might not be available - so I got one in Oct. Insane that I was making vaccine decisions bc RFK & Rump are friggin nutso.

There's a great horn owl nest in the big ball of mistletoe at the top of a douglas fir right across from my house. I've had owl TV for years now, and it is the best. Esp. when they are teaching the kids to fly. when they fly right past me low to ground - the wing span is a little scary - so big!
