Fair play, I don’t believe I’ve properly introduced the main universe the majority of my ocs exist in
American Wasteland, as I’m currently calling it, is a sort of Fallout inspired sci-fi universe heavily populated by sentient robots (more in alt)

A landscape sketch featuring Rick (a robotic anthropomorphic cat) driving what is supposed to be a late 1960s Cadillac sedan (I’m not the best at drawing cars and I was having trouble finding references of that specific angle) with a roadside off to the right displaying the words “American Wasteland” with additional signs reading “Chicago Exit 30” and “Lake Michigan —— Miles” [This is the wordy bit] This is a universe I’ve been working on since high school, highly inspired by my time playing Fallout 4; taking place in a more authoritarian leaning and high tech United States in the later 21st century. Basically all of the robot ocs I have are connected with this universe and the stories I’ve been writing around it (whether they be main characters or supporting cast or what have you) and though some of these stories take place in this America, the main story (from which the character featured in the image above is from) takes place after the events of August 2083, when a nuclear war lasting mere hours brings the entire world to its knees. What’s left are scattered survivors and a decently large population of robots, all of whom featured in these stories, are sentient. Rick is one of these. He’s a robot originally built to be a servant or butler, but has long since found himself breaking his programming and gaining free will following an event that’s left him traumatized. The story revolves around Rick, and a traveling buddy he meets early on, a fellow robot named Ford, making a cross-country trip to northern California in an attempt to help Rick find purpose and come to terms with himself and his trauma. It’s very much a story I started writing in the depths of Covid, but I do intend on one day finishing it and getting it published, I’ve just gotten distracted expanding this universe I’ve ended up falling in love with
