Not seen anyone mention the role of FB, TilTok and youtube (and maybe X idk how popular it is). Increasingly this is where people get their "news" or info on politics. Conspiracy-minded entertainment, adjacent to the hate-filled videos London Cenric recently investigated. The monetisation of right
Getting really tired of "this is all a media concoction"...

Starmer has the lowest approval rating of any PM in history bar Truss. Senior ministers are openly and unsubtly positioning. His Chief of Staff, Director of Comms and Cab Sec have all resigned on the same day.

I mean come on...

Psst! Dawn Foster didn't know Wes Streeting at university

Was the one MP Imogen Walker?
Yes, god help we risk a floundering government that feels like no one is in charge.

Come on Colin Peacock, tell him to fuck McSweeney off
February 6, 2026 at 2:22 PM
Seriously. Fuck him off
Crikey why hasn't McSweeney gone yet?

From day Starmer sacked Mandelson. Off the record, anonymous sources. No one can be held accountable because of this understanding between political reporters, which means they know who's saying stuff but we don't (or might be able to decode if we know the code).

Do we know when vetting info is being released at all?
February 5, 2026 at 12:31 PM
Can see Starmer might have to go but am confused about shock or "shock" that he was aware Mandelson had contact with Epstein following his conviction. This was widely known and when Mandelson was sacked it was said at time that it was cos the closeness/extent of relationship was not known/declared.

Getting a bit fed up of all these MPs congratulating themselves and each over now.

Where was this then apposite now redundant Andy Burnham quote last weekend?
(Maybe it was everywhere Idk)

Not UBI again. I thought wealth tax had replaced it as the populist panacea
January 29, 2026 at 1:05 PM
I rolled my eyes seeing Burnham was going on stull but he's right and Starmer needs to fuck off the individual everyone knows is doing it but seemingly won't
Andy Burnham calls out Westminster culture of briefing against politicians without impunity...
January 29, 2026 at 12:00 PM
So Peston was told 2 different things and Burnham said one was wrong and now it's a massive story?
And no one can be held accountable because briefed anonymously. Fucking ridiculous

Amusing to see 2 potato-faced individuals on Novara recently agreeing that Starmer has never been attractive.
I follow a lot of very intelligent political journalists and commentators but unfortunately none of them have cottoned on to what I think is now blindingly obvious - namely that a young (and hot) Keir Starmer was recruited by the Tories in the 90s to destroy the Labour Party.
