The Sifting of the Soul is just a hazing ritual, where Emmrich has to chug it, and if he can keep it down, he gets to join the Frater- I mean the Lich Lords.

There's a quest in the main city that introduces you to the elves, but I'm not sure when it pops up.

I had to recheck it, and yes, the elves have pointy ears, albeit more of the ‘vulkan’ variety, instead of the frieren style.
They are kinda generic, although the fact you need a pawn with specific traits to understand them is a nice touch.

Stuffing is usually a combination of bread and herbs ‘stuffed’ inside the cavity of the turkey (but can be cooked separately). It’s a side dish. It’s delicious!

I always feel horrible when I accidentally leave them hanging.
(Also, I believe it increases your affinity with your pawn, which does have a minor change to a certain dialogue)
