I've been kind of nervous to post my Battletech fan designs, but I'm kind of feeling it tonight - so have the Einbora and the Kodanda. Both are heavy snipers, though the Kodanda is a bit slower and has the benefit of stealth armor.

I haven't been posting my art a lot recently, but I do take commissions. I'm open to experimentation, and would absolutely be down to do couples.

Someone still *could* have used Photoshop to mock up a pill bottle with Epstein's name on it - though what makes that funny beyond "pill bottle topical" and "Trump, a malignant narcissist, was close to the pedophile Epstein" I'm not sure. Wouldn't have "capiets" and... whatever that is below

Well, I'm 32 today. Still been making art, but it's a lot harder to post art than to make it, I think. Finally got myself started on painting my mechs. For a first-ever paintjob I think this Awesome came out pretty good. #battletech #miniatures
An Awesome BattleMech painted in Rasalhague Dominion Gunzburg Eagles colors - grey-blue with dark yellow shoulders, and red Norse runes serving as points of interest. The runes on this one are from the Elder Futhark, with the algiz rune above the cockpit. The miniature is still perched on a painting handle, with many bottles of paint and a cardboard box visible behind it. The same miniature, turned to face the left, showing the red thurisaz rune on the side of its arm. Its gun barrels, feet, and some joints are painted in dark grey metallic paints, The same miniature is now facing away from the viewer, exposing the heat sink vents on its back. An attempt has been made to indicate them glowing as if actively venting heat, using yellow and orange paints. A final picture of the same Awesome BattleMech, now facing to the right to show a red jera rune on the other arm. All of the runes were painted in freehand, and I am very proud of getting them to look okay.

A fruit tier list, with fruit ranked, from top to bottom, S, A, B, C, D, or I've never had this. Many fruits are in S rank, including dragonfruit, kiwi, grapes in general, several kinds of citrus, mango, and many others. A respectable number are in A tier, like coconut, lemon, pear, and banana. Only honeydew, custard apple, and raisins occupy B tier. C tier is populated solely by red apples, D tier only by cantaloupe (which tastes of vomit), and I have never had currants, durian, papaya, Asian pears, mulberries, or mangosteen. Would love to try all of them.

The wings are a minor feature of one of these pieces, but I've enjoyed winged subjects from time to time, and certainly will do so again.

Ultimately, this piece was not selected for the Salina Art Center's 10,000 Birds exhibition. I'm excited that this means I get to share it with you much sooner than otherwise anticipated, and just as excited to see the exhibition when it opens on March 7th.

I'm a freelance artist favoring mecha, paleoart, character work and dark fantasy. A lot of the work I love to share is for individual clients, or personal work made for my own projects, including ongoing tabletop campaigns.

Another of my custom Battlemech designs, the OWO-3L Thoth is meant to be a back-line sniper and command-and-control unit, with a command console and seven tons of communications equipment giving a commander plenty to play with.

One of the first of my custom Battlemech designs, the SET-3B Setesh. Part of the Egyptian God series, I envisioned it as a medium stealth striker for the Magistracy of Canopus.

For me, it's gotta be something for my League of Thrym, the Aquila Rift weirdos relying on weird old mechs to hold off the Marian Hegemony. I figure the Dragoon would appeal to a lot of people, justly so, as something to include as crushed debris in mech dioramas.

One of these days I'm going to finish some other paleoart, but for now, the Carnotaurus beach run remains my favorite dinosaur piece.

I've been having a lot of fun with horror-adjacent art for my d&d campaign - unlike the rest of my art, where I tend to work over the course of days on a sketch, then linework, then colors, most of this work is hammered out in a single session, and I think the roughness adds to the vibe.
A monstrous creature of twisted, thorny red vines wound through the hollow, grey skin of something long-dead. The arms are the most intact part, though they have become thorny themselves, and the long claws of the hands mirror the thorns of the vines. The creature's face is a hollow-eyed, wooden mask, with long ears, and thorns on the chin and cheeks. A greyscale image of a boar with a ruined, rotted face. The boar's eye is white and staring, its body covered in boils, spikes, and strange gooey tendrils. Its feet have been reduced down to claws, losing the hooves entirely. A goat-headed demon - a Bulezau, from Dungeons and Dragons - on a murky background. The demon's grey skin is covered in yellow pustules, the same color as its pupil-less eyes. The demon wields a two-pronged weapon, a man-catcher, that is made of the same material as his horns, and he thrusts this weapon towards the viewer. Only the face, a pair of clawed hands, and the clawed tips of two huge leathery wings are visible. Another favorite of my old art pieces, something I did for a commission a couple of years ago. A friend wanted this sort of drawing of their pet lizard, and designing the clothes to reflect the color patterns of the lizard was a really fun challenge.

The first major paleoart piece I did, something for fun back in 2021. There's some things I'd do different, some ways I misinterpreted the data on integument, but I still enjoy the spirit of the piece. I like to think of animals like Carnotaurus enjoying life.
