#mswl I've received very few graphic novel proposals since re-opening to queries, so I want to shout from the rooftops that, as a graphic novelist myself, children's comics are my jam and I want to see all of your pitches! Comics are so important!

#mswl I adore will-they-won't-they romance, slow burn, established pairings, and more. I'm open to all YA graphic novels including romcom, but for prose I'm strictly open to children's fantasy, spy, and heist, not contemporary romance. It was listed in error on querytracker, now fixed.

My maternal grandfather was in a commercial for a hair product in the 70's, and before my dad ever met my mom he and his friends would imitate how my grandfather would turn his head in the ad. It wasn't even dialogue, but it became a meme. My grandfather got recognized in public a lot too!

There's more and more lore in this house about rice every day. At first it just tickled me because the dog does love rice and the thought of ordering something extra just for her seemed so cute. Then it was funny to me that they doubted my bit. I always knew it would pay off.
