Many years ago I worked in an RI school where the HTs idea of a motivational back to school welcome was to tell staff that in the upcoming Ofsted: 'We are going for Good and if you don't make the grade YOU are going for good.' So not that.

I am sorry but you are deluding yourself. They are identifying you with their grandparents. Their parents grew up in late 90s/early 00s. This year's Y7 intake were born in 2013.
