Dem Senators listen carefully to the words Homan uses: “in theater”’ “deployment”, “mission”. He’s using military jargon because this is an illegal occupation of a US city. Don’t fund ICE!

You know what gives me hope in these dark, dangerous times? There are many, many of us fighting for human rights on behalf of our immigrant & POC neighbors, most of which we’ve never even met.
I do hope the rest of the world sees this side of us, and doesn’t give up on us altogether.

I’m old enough to remember that measles left some kids blind; some deaf. I hadn’t heard of any cases of brain-damage, but this was also a complication of the measles.

I predict there will be disbarments and war crime trials coming in the future for this administration.
I don’t understand why people continue to willingly put themselves in positions that essentially force them to break their moral and ethical codes.

Trump’s idea of distributing tariff money to people is so quintessentially socialistic as to be laughable. Tariff money is paid by purchasers within the US; giving it back out to the general public is socialism.
How about not collecting meaningless tariffs in the first place?

Starting to wonder if these boat strikes were never about drugs, but about triggering a conflict with Venezuela. Those boats don’t carry enough gas, I don’t think, to reach the US, so how were they ever a threat?

So sad that a stupid political stunt led to this. Shame on anyone who enabled this senseless BS. We are wasting valuable tax payer money when we have actual problems that could be focused on. Instead, we are sending out the National Guard to stand around on corners and become targets.
A sad irony in Washington, D.C., where West Virginia National Guardsmen were shot today. Six days ago, a court ruled their deployment was illegal, but stayed the order pending appeal. My heart goes out to these public servants and their families. oag.dc.gov/sites/defaul...

It is time Zelenskyy realize Trump will always side with Russia and cannot be trusted to bring peace to Ukraine with Ukraine remaining in tact. While it will be more difficult for Ukraine, America can no longer be considered his ally under this admin. Hopefully EU/NATO countries will step up
