After initially trying to rub himself against the screen, he settled down, and I made the mistake of petting him appreciatively.)

(One of my department heads at school has a 'pet' raccoon they rescued as a newborn.)

Please know I understand that raccoons are wild animals. This specific raccoon was rescued when he was approximately a day-old and bottle-fed by this family. (It makes me happier than it should to see Todd cozy on this chair. He's been spending a LOT of time in a couple kitchen cabinets recently, which could be partly due to cooler weather but seems a lot more timidity, so I was glad to see him relaxed in the open.)

Reached out to Gale Cengage over on The Bad Place to see if this is a statewide change and, if so, which part of which recent legislation it was in response to?

I had a student who did a research paper on abortion this past spring...
