The performance on GitHub when reviewing a large PR is atrocious. It takes a good 3s to load the comment boxes and it's been going up as time goes on.

This is *painful*

I am looking for a full-time job.

Being independent in open source for 3.5+ years has been wonderful. I've gotten done most of the high-level goals I wanted to, and miss having people & structure around me.

If you know of a role for a staff-level TypeScript+web developer, let me know! 🙂

My birthday is this Saturday, November 1, which is consequently also when SNAP benefits run out for millions of Americans.

I know you a lot of you don’t know me, but the best birthday gift you could give is donating to your local food bank.

Donating food, money, or your time is so valuable.

I'm embarrassed to say it took me far too long before realizing that R Studio is not from post-it the note pads

using a laptop that isn't 6 years old and having the battery almost full still after 2 hours of light work is pretty nice

I'm redoing my personal site and I have to say I'm really inspired by @antfu.me's.

It's the perfect blend of showing off his work and showcasing who he is.

Eg. the whole media list really makes me happy because I love knowing about people outside of their tech lives, too 🥹

No one can tell me that AI has improved the support experience.

Trying to talk to the bot doesn't help you and to get to a human you have to talk to a bot!!!!!! Why are we relying on this!!!!!!!!!

Been a bit quiet lately. Since my March layoff, I've been focused on finding my next role and not getting rusty.

Honestly, this job hunt sucks. My bank account is running on fumes, and I'm honestly starting to lose hope and feel incredibly demoralized.
