Usually when rules text type gets this small, there’s no room for flavor text. But here, they clearly made sure to *make* room, just so they could stick that knife in just a little deeper. #MTGxAvatar

Everything about this card sings. The art is just drenched and the rules text is both perfectly in tune with the character of Zhao and the events of the story AND a reference to Magic’s own history with the card “Blood Moon” that made all lands mountains. #MTGxAvatar

I don’t know that I’ll be able to buy as much #MTGxAvatar as I would like, but as the guy who organizes singles for the store, just getting to handle some of these is a perk.

After decades of growing up reading the books, then introducing him to my children, it was this image that made me choose to finally learn about Peruvian bears, or Andean bears as they are named.

So Paddington should be black with masking on his face. Huh. Got the hard stare right, at least.
