It turned out to be a very sweaty, nail-biting trophy run against Izzet tempo, Doomsday running double moxen and Jace Wielder, and fast discard combo-aggro.

Some drafts, you need to bounce around a bit before you find your lane. Other drafts, you accidentally put together Breach-LED-Brain Freeze plus power in your opening seven picks.

This deck did not feel like it was supposed to trophy a vintage cube elimination draft. (I'm sitting at 68 QPs right now, making this my most winningest season ever.)

Turn one, on the play: Blackcleave Cliffs, Black Lotus, Chain of Smog targeting myself, discarding Atraxa and Oliphant, Exhume the Atraxa, draw into Mox Jet and Reanimate, bring back the Oliphant, pass with thirteen power on board and Entomb + Death ready for turn two. This felt glorious.

I trophied with Boros aggro, made those tweets, went to sleep, woke up, forced Boros aggro again, and immediately trophied again. This was a middling rendition of the archetype, but it had two of the cards I mentioned and also a piece of fast mana, and that's all it takes.

My fingers hurt, but after about a dozen rejects and half a dozen methods attempted, I've got my process for hand-stamping the new Quiet Year boxes dialed in.

(my first draft was "Coyotes, Foxes, Jackals, and Wolves are Dogs" but I feel like this is probably a lot more playable.)
