The US does NOT need to take over Greenland. As Danish territory, we are already obligated to protect it since Denmark is part of NATO. Additionally, we have extensive military bases in the area, including Thule AFB. We have everything we need without needlessly risking NATO.

I’m worried about the future for Venezuela and the bad precedent that Trump has set for capturing him.
That said, let Venezuelans celebrate his downfall if they want. They deserve a day of celebration after being put through the wringer by Maduro and Chavez for 25+ years.

Fire commissioners are NOT fire chiefs. Fire chiefs handle day to day operations and are uniformed firefighters. Fire commissioners are civilians who handle administrative duties. A majority of NYC Fire (and Police) Commissioners have never served as firefighters (or cops).

The reason Chinese pop culture has not penetrated the Western market as deeply as Japanese and Korean pop culture can be directly tied to the heavy-handed regulation the Chinese government does on its own entertainment industry. There have been success stories, but not enough.
