Develops medical laboratory software. Emphasis on medical billing. Former Treasury VP (risk mgmt stuff) at ridiculously global bank, gave that up when I figured out they ignored risk management.
But that may mark the (not so bitter) end for the time being. The question you ask at the top, "who's left to buy", will likely become relevant after that.
We may see the 60's or even lower in my IQ index before then. Your average trader will be a God-level genius.

Still, even in this crazed environment, the current reading is the lowest since Jan, before the first tariff fit. Still waiting for the SC to weigh in on the tariffs, and I still think when it does (they can't really find they're legal, so at least some will be reversed) the market will rocket.

You will note the peak of 253 was not that high, really. It was only a little over the long term average. It has spent most of this year below that average, and a large part of it below the 2 std level of 120.
Everyone's a genius.

Last instance was one year ago, when it bottomed at 65 on the day after Xmas. It peaked at 253 in April during Trump's first mad fit over tariffs.
It has actually spent a very decent part of this year under 100, which used to be an extreme low reading. Now it's almost normal.

The next instance of a (relatively) low reading happened right before they decided to take COVID seriously: 140 on Feb 13, 2020. (I will never understand how Wall St didn't see this one coming, but I'm not as smart as the average trader, obviously). It peaked at 526 on Mar 17, 2020.

Current reading is (kazoo flourish please) 75.97.
Low readings of course precede sharp reversals.
First instance of what was, at the time, a relatively low reading was at the end of 2017, when it reached a low of 90.61 in December.
Volmaggedon followed in Feb 2018.

What I would want to happen to him can't be written down.

Careful with that. They'll blow up a Puerto Rican tanker full of Bacardi & then have to explain to Congress why they were blowing up an American ship.

Trying to imagine King meeting Trump and failing. OMG.

Ditto. I'd be very happy to get the original price paid back, don't need all the gains. It was too expensive when we got it and it's completely ridiculous now.

There is no freedom without freedom of movement, which is why the right is so hell-bent on making it impossible to leave the place of your birth. They want the entire world to be made up of open-air prisons under authoritarian regimes.
