They ran the blood tests this morning and he's already in the terminal stages. I expected it, to be honest, but it still hurts, like someone stabbing you in the heart. The good news is he's not suffering, so that's the only thing that comforts me, even a little.
My dog is very old, and he's been in bad shape for a few months now, but today he's especially bad. I haven't seen him like this in a long time. I just want to cry. Just thinking about it makes me depressed.
