It does log you out on a schedule, even without crashes. If you notice it's done so (thankfully it doesn't seem to auto-refresh to a blank page), you can still copy the text from the boxes into a notepad or doc.

Ours were ~3/4 submitted, for a SS in third week of October, when maybe it seemed more hopeful that we'd be back on track soon.
