I’m so proud of what we’ve done at The Banner. Started from scratch and now we're Pulitzer winners(!!) with reporting that actually makes people care about (and subscribe to) local news, whether it’s hard-hitting accountability journalism or fun and surprising features..

At the Post, I'll be overseeing features, sports, local, investigations and data — can't think of a better mix. But the real drive is getting to help reinvigorate an institution that's absolutely crucial to our democracy. That’s the kind of fight I’m ready to take on next.
