Fans are begging the Lions to add at Edge, but frankly I believe Holmes when he says those guys just aren't on the market, and I wouldn't want to leverage the future for half a season of Maxx Crosby. Are there some more realistic, Holmes-style options out there that could make a difference?

I'm wondering if kickers, in the arms race for more power, are taking just a fraction longer on their approach/windup. Although if it were that simple I'm sure someone would have written a piece about it already.
