Won’t fully happen. It’s called profit. Consumers have been conditioned to the higher prices. Businesses will only give back a portion of it, if at all.

Universal H/C FTW…yes yes yes. As a Canadian diagnosed with Stage 3 CR cancer 5 years ago I can attest to it. Radiation, chemo, 3 major surgeries (don’t ask) and then 3 years of immunotherapy. Then add all other diagnostic testing. Guess what…not a single bill. I have no idea what it cost.

I bet though that they would have no issue with me, a white Anglo Canadian, enjoying the trappings of Thanksgiving. I’m sure there has to be more to it than simply being a “foreigner”.

Look north. We haven’t had pennies for a long time. Prices are rounded up or down to the nearest 5 cents. It’s not hard and at the end of the day it should all be a wash. Or pay with a card (debit or credit) and you pay the exact price.

It should be looked at through the lens of an inverse relationship. The more wealth one has, the more they need to be ignored.
