Hey Shen, my wife just passed away, and I wanted to say that she loved your comics. She would tell me about them all the time. Thank you for bringing joy to her world.

I recommend to either (a) preconceive of a clever idea and figure out how to represent that in mechanics or (b) be inspired to form an idea around a cool mechanic or combo of mechanics

My cis wife takes HRT. While we can make a categorical distinction between gender affirming care and fighting aging, the idea that the same medicine and treatment are categorically different when done to a trans person, opposed to cis, is regressive. Everyone should have access to the care she gets.

Eh the extralegal shenanigans that McConnell used to keep the SCOTUS from shifting left during Obama I do think would qualify the SCOTUS's current makeup as illegitimate. But I would be against it for structural and moral reasons even if it were perfectly "legit".
The GOP is both criminal and evil.

If people didn't mind AI, you wouldn't have to tell people to embrace it.

Would be interested to hear your reasoning for whatever you decide and where you'll go. Modern social media feels very "pick your poison" (where all the poisons are lethal to sex workers)

Its like how the best way to win a girl is to *trick* her into thinking youre a nice guy by being there for her whenever she needs you and also being willing to give her space, while partnering and supporting her through the ups and downs of your long term commitment. *She'll never see it coming!*

Classic motte and bailey. Say something boisteriously wrong, and then switch to a more defensible, "nuanced" approach when challenged on particulars.

I'm really sorry that this is happening. My partner is also getting surgery soon, so I know the anxiety and uncertainty that upcoming surgery places on you. While it may not be the same, just know that you will still be whole on the other side of it.

Also I resent the notion that higher levels being underused means they are bad. All media experiences have people that don't make it to the end; this doesn't mean the ends don't have value and shouldn't be made well.

I think a lot of people have internalized DnD's higher levels often going unused, difficult to balance, and lacking in material, but their solution is that those levels are intrinsically a bad design decision instead of something that can potentially be done well.

Oh absolutely. You buy some anime, and well that's a Japanese export, you're clearly not a loyal citizen of our nation, points docked, etc.

Imagine showing up to a gig, your job, to record your voice, and a guy says he already has a duplicate of you having done the job. You are then tasked with performing just like your duplicate did. Any deviation is scrutinized. Execs already approved the AI version; you are just a formality.

I think the boring answer is: it depends, but a point of inspiration might be this true fact:
Under general relativity we see that approaching the speed of light makes time slow down for you relatively. This means light itself, photons, are in a timeless state. A photon simply couldn't *experience*

My partner and I got called tourists once for not thinking the Fallout TV show was great.
This was a comment on a mod we made. For Fallout New Vegas. On the Nexus mod website. Where we are established mod authors.
Some people really just say things.
