When Manchester United use this formation people call it a 5-2-3. When Chelsea use this formation people call it a 3-4-3. Neither fully represent what actually happens during the match.

That is why it is not surprising they are struggling to start the season. They had the easiest fixtures through the first five of any other team in the league.

That's an interesting simulation but is 1.5xGA a tad extreme? Would be the equivalent of Wolves' defense last season.

I dislike radar charts. I think it is an inefficient and confusing way to compare players. What is wrong with a column chart? It is simpler and easier to visualize how big the differences are.

Less shots conceded than Arsenal but near bottom in opponent avg. shot distance. But it is very hard to compare teams that have 10,000+ touches in the attacking third to teams with only 8,000 because Tottenham give the ball up in dangerous areas, like City this season, unlike City last season.
