You can clearly see he wasn't really in a choke hold his arm was over his face not neck, and if it was a legit choke hold the officials would have jumped in right away and not watched it play out.

I think you're probably right, him being away for long periods of time let things fester to the point where we got what we got.

Handle the Punk situation differently. Both parties were to blame for it getting out of hand and it took a while for AEW to get out of a funk after it happened. If dealt with differently I think AEW and Punk would be prosperous together.
