The "reciprocal" clash of two giants bears bad news for the trade and the global economy. The European Union can lead a coalition of countries working together to soften the blow, protecting business, working people and families. In a world full of mad men, it pays of to be predictable and coherent.

Zorgen dat wie medicatie nodig heeft, die medicatie ook kan krijgen in Europa. Het lijkt een evidentie, maar vandaag is het dat niet. En dan worden routine operaties, risicovolle procedures en kunnen gemakkelijk te behandelen infecties dodelijk zijn.

Zorgen dat wie medicatie nodig heeft, die medicatie ook kan krijgen in Europa. Het lijkt een evidentie, maar vandaag is het dat niet. En dan worden routine operaties, risicovolle procedures en kunnen gemakkelijk te behandelen infecties dodelijk zijn.

Peace, freedom and democracy are not achieved by putting a knife to someone’s throat. Coercion is the worst motivation. Trump's decision to cut off military aid to #Ukraine is irresponsible and puts heavy pressure not only on Ukraine, but on NATO, Europe and all Western allies.

De stem die in deze tijden van geopolitiek gepoker en getouwtrek te weinig aan bod komt: die van de Oekraïense bevolking. Het gaat immers altijd over mensen.
Niemand hoopt meer op vrede en vrijheid dan zij.
