At what point do we get to go on strike against this stupidity that is happening in our country. The systemic take down of our infrastructure is making us less safe, less secure, more prone to financial instability than ever before. We are the workers, we pay taxes, time to stop. NO MORE FUNDING.

Starbucks CEO, Brian Niccol, started work at Starbucks on 9/9/24. His compensation: $96 million dollars. $90 million of which was the buyout of his Chipotle stocks (the amount he forfeited to join Starbucks). They paid him $5 million in bonus. Between 9/9 and 9/29 he made $61538.

I guess I can't trust Elseveir much now. Besides gating their journals behind a ridiculous paywall half the time so I can't see the adequate medical journals for my job it seems they uses AI instead of human copy editors
