in a cast with several characters that range from mid to very likable, it just makes mike (and lucas tbh) look even worse

we should have put the cone on her before bed but she was so drugged when we fell asleep that we didn’t think it would wear off before she’d start itching 😢 gonna keep a close eye on it and make sure it stays clean and closed

nor did i see apparent damage from where she did manage to loosen her stitch. we had to unsnarl her teeth from the thread and then we put a cat sweater on her and safety pinned the unused leg hole closed so her sutures are covered

fortunately i don’t think she could have been stuck that long, her pain and numbing medicine would have only worn off within the past hour or two. plus i think eventually she would have started making noise for us to help her.

the vet techs said she was full of love and wanted attention all day, and that the pain meds make some cats isolate but makes others (like her) very sweet and clingy. we’re glad to have the latter

putting her picture under a sensitive marker, she’s not grotesque or bloody or in pain but she had to get partially shaved and does have weird looking stitches—so just to be safe in case anyone is easily icked. she’s happy though!
