i picked up cyberpunk 2077 again after 2 years and I'm surprised how much i actually still remember of the story 😂 somehow it stuck with me, despite my bad memory.

i don't care how well written your horror story is, if the reveal of the source of the horror ends up being "gasp SEXUAL VIOLENCE ON WOMEN" then i am immediately losing any and all investment and respect i had beforehand.

setting up a new win 11 pc is insane lol getting blasted with useless notifs left and right, having to jump thru several hoops to even be able to deactivate the ai garbage (if you're on home instead of pro) and then having to deactivate a whole ass key because otherwise it'll still bring up c0pilot

my fav kind of fic is the ones that get you so immersed and warm when the characters are talking about their future together and it's all so gentle and lovely and then in the second to last sentence the author drops the reminder that they'll never actually get to experience this future they dream of
