That person seems to have mispronounced "whimsical and talented," but I suspect they don't have those words in their lexicon, anyway.

Man, what do I gotta do to look that good when I reach my 70s?

I've just been told that I found all the playable characters, but I'm not at all sure of that. Given the cyclical nature of the game, the world, the theme, and the swap at the end of chapter 1, I suspect I've unlocked character slots and not the characters themselves.

That battlefield and the boss are just hell incarnate. It also suggests that there have been way more expeditions than we know, given the amount of bodies piled up everywhere.

I found the boss frustrating because of the lighting; too dark to see clearly with these modern TVs.

I've entered Chapter 2, and I'm still reeling a bit from the event. I think it's a bit of a dick move to do this to players, but it was clear from the start that no one is actually safe.

Well, one person seems to be. She's the center of it all, but we're not sure how yet.

Journals talk about "bleeding (enemies) dry", characters say "time to spill some ink," etc. I think the characters are from a portrait world painted by the Painters, but I can't figure out anything else yet.

HER weird house with the art deco with the paintings I just saw?

I don't think they're alive, at least, not like our understanding of it. All the dead bodies are drained of color, leaving black statues or puppets behind, but the characters recognize that as a natural "dead" state. Like an art model doll, drained of color.

Oh, I won't. I can already tell I want the purest, fullest impact possible.

Yoo-hoo-phemism?

Though the music isn't my genre of choice, I can't deny that they were talented, fun to watch, and they really enjoyed doing it.

I'm fortunate in that I've got someone who's pretty good at it and doesn't mind doing that. However, and I'm sure you know this, nice components come later in the process; I cannibalize many games of their components to suit my needs.

TTS is my usual staging ground for new build iterations. For testing, I prefer to get people together to try out the work (usually by offering them a home cooked Japanese meal.)

Blind testing still makes me nervous, but that's normal for everyone.

Sorry for not being more helpful.

Okay, yes, but how?

I mean, good for them, but I do worry about potential backlash with that.

On the other hand... (looks at sales of our games)

The irony, now both tangible and relentless, threatens to consume the very fabric of our reality.

I don't like this timeline.

If video games have taught me anything (and they really kinda haven't), it's that there's something important behind this wall.
