I feel like there's a terrible double standard. In a world where almost every game that comes out needs day 1 patches and paywalls simply having fun, would it be so bad for some games to be $80 and come 100% complete? My mom remembers paying $80 for NES games ($300 of 2025 money).

What's up with Morpha being so vulnerable? Developers really didn't think you'd be here without hookshot, so I guess they didn't see the point in hard-coding morpha to need hookshot. Good thing.

Much faster than the double gliding we were doing, and it's still very easy.

If Shadow Temple wasn't dumb enough, there's a collision gap that makes taking the platform out of bounds more easily and makes it perfect for a consistent BKS setup. Remember to target the wall before going out of bounds, and shield before you side-hop.

Did a more thorough investigation into the best way to grab a stick in Forest Temple. Tried getting a stick while carrying the block to the bubble room, but it cost 8+ seconds. The 6.79 second time cost method is easy anyway. Just don't hit the giant deku baba too early.

In OoT Custom Items mod speedrun, we've discovered HESSing off of arm canon explosion replacing the need for bombs theoretically saving 50 seconds, but bombs were used to make Ganon 20 seconds faster. A stick to equip swap can give us back those 20 seconds... if we take 10 seconds to grab a stick.
