The main issue is that the best D&D products aren’t made by WotC. They’re made by Arcane Library, Necrotic Gnome, Goodman Games and others.
I’m introducing some young family members to D&D in a couple of weeks and using a WotC system wasn’t even on the short list.

I was looking at this and assumed it was a cropped c64 image. I have no familiarity with Atari. Sorry!

Is the c64 one attributed to Atari? I’m not actually familiar with Atari Holdings or whatever they’re called now, do they own IP that once belonged to commodore?
