I felt like this experience was very eye-opening. It made me think about myself both creatively and personally. At first, I tried to make a lot of it fictional, but as I continued, I realized it was easier to just stretch the truth a bit. Not everything was real. #yousoundfamiliar

#SMEno1fav I loved that I got to talk about dance because it made it super simple.

Memory is so interesting because it requires practice, and not everything stays. Things are not always remembered the same. Like no 2 people will remember something the same way. This section really helps explain that feeling. #realityhunger

I like his quote because I feel like it explains why we only remember some things and not others #realityhunger

Section 164F is very interesting because we all perceive the world differently. I guess that is because our hearts are set on different understandings. #realityhunger

I don't necessarily agree with this, but I feel like when stories are true (not fiction), they feel the most personal. #realityhunger

This quote reminds me of this class because I always leave learning questioning more about myself or how things in my life work #realityhunger

In section 138E, I enjoy that it's set up more like a poem; it's showing different kinds of literature. I wonder what the intention behind it is. #realityhunger

This quote was really interesting, and the format of it being squished between 2 longer sections really stood out to me. #realityhunger

In section 133E, I love that he says writing fiction is unnatural because I feel the same. It is easier to just write what really happens. #realityhunger

In section 124E, I love that he says it's real when the artist messes up. It reminds us that even the most talented people are human and make mistakes just like the everyday person. #realityhunger

In section 49B, I think it is kinda sad that it says writers have to constantly keep trying to better themselves. They should just be able to write for fun.
February 16, 2026 at 1:40 AM
This is interesting because it shows how writing was freer and let writers explore new ideas without having to follow strict rules. #realityhunger

In section 29B, I like how the author shows how history and stories change over time. #realityhunger
February 16, 2026 at 1:29 AM
#realityhunger I think this is really interesting because there are only so many configurations of words. We have all said the same thing as someone who lived before us or will live after us.

#realityhunger I like how they are writing from their personal perspective, it makes it seem more personal

#realityhunger I love the way it is formatted in little numbered sections. It breaks it up nicely.

I don’t fully understand what the point of this media was. Like what truly was knicker bocker glory because the sounds seemed very random. #atmospherestudy

I don’t think I would have noticed as much of the background noise as I did if I hadn’t read TMITM. Like there was people laughing randomly during dialog. #atmospherestudy

Around 6 minutes and 30 seconds the violins and waves were playing. If there was a visual I don’t think I would have noticed the waves as much and what they added to the media if there was a visual. I would have been too busy with the visual to appreciate it. #atmospherestudy

I hated when the metal was banging around. It was very aggravating after the calming violins. #knickerbockerglory
February 9, 2026 at 2:52 AM
The violins with the waves in the background made me feel very calm. #knickerbockerglory

The silence after the very noisy chirping in the beginning makes me feel that the dialoge is extremely important and makes me focus more. #knickerbockerglory

When I am doing SME 1, I should play a role and explore the way AI reacts to prompts. It’s ok to not sound like myself, almost helpful. #primarytakeaway #joeandashley
