We know more needs done in this area to improve all of the paths in and around Brancumhall Pitches. This is just the start. If you have any thoughts on this project or would like to help with future local path projects, please let me know.

The refurbishment will be carried out by @southlanarkshire.gov.uk and will also involve primary children and Pavilion users, enabling safe, active travel to school and improved disabled access to the Pavilion. Total project value of £23,000 with all the wider support too.

Currently this is a rutted footpath, leading to people having to use the adjacent road (and mixing with vehicles) or being put off walking or wheeling here. Huge thanks to residents and parents who spoke to me about this issue and spurned me on to develop the project and apply for the funding.
