I did this one kind of by accident - I did some rough scribbles over the image just to get the colour, size & perspective, but then really loved how it looked! & I fucking love Eds boots on this so sharing this little detail

IT'S FINISHED! It's wonky & wobbly but I love it. Been washed, needs an iron. I think I'm going to get a round frame
A completed OFMD embroidery showing Stede dangling over the side of the boat. Roach & the Swede are on deck looking exasperated. It's all in long & short stitch with a single thread, apart from Stedes cuffs which are a textured stitch I made up as I went along. Same embroidery with my hand for scale A close up on Stede, Roach & the Swede Close up on Stede. His buttons are French knots with metallic thread so really sparkle.

Haven't updated this in aaages - here's why! My sister loves Ghost so I decided to embroider this for her birthday in September. I wonder how many French knots are here. The eye is glow in the dark thread, the mask is metallic thread so really sparkles, the photo doesn't do it justice!
Papa V, I believe? From the band Ghost. He has skull makeup & a pewter coloured beaded mask, and a purple beaded bishops hat. An embroidery based on the previous image. The beaded mask is made of thousands of French knots. The hat needs to be beaded, then it's finished!

What's the general theory on the two cat flags? The one Frenchie makes is used to create a mannequin in the rowboat, & the second one is put on the mast at the end. Does Frenchie make them both, & that's why he says he sews like the wind?
