Had to stop to take in the glory of the full moon on our bike errand to the grocery store.

I tried to find the photo of the box on the last day, but just found this from the tear down 😆

Bike ‘em to school, haul bike back. Cargo bikes make me happy.

Same here! Here's the slide from my @nordicapis.com keynote talk. @simonwillison.net's post and other related musings on the definition of an agent have been super helpful.

Vintage sci-fi that keeps showing us who we are. Recently read this series and I’ll always recommend Octavia E Butler’s novels. 📚

Made a cute flower arrangement in a gourd and bought these fun hand made cat toys this morning.

“In a peaceful age I might have written ornate or merely descriptive books, and might have remained almost unaware of my political loyalties.

As it is I have been forced into becoming a sort of pamphleteer.”

Night ride along the river, so peaceful.

When this stretch is finished it’s gonna be glorious. 🤩

Although, who made the decision for the path design as it approaches Central Ave? Sure, have an amazing off street path but then try not to die crossing Central Ave. 😏

A friend gave this book to me, so I had no idea what it was about when I started reading it, and wow did I learn a lot from this historical fiction. Interesting perspective on spreading fascism in the 1930s-40s from this lens in a position of power, insight, and early escape. #booksky

Some caterpillar 🐛 friends in my garden this morning munching on parsley. They’ve been hanging out here for a few a days and are significantly bigger than they were two days ago.

When we can’t fully commit to a longer ride or the part with major hills, our little cyclist has options. Love this bike so much.

First day of school bike commute. Mom hauls the backpacks and kids ride freely. Another good use of cargo bike esp since in junior high they really load up the books.

I’ll be honest, there’s so much in the world to be sad and mad about. The joys of my bike and the independence it gives us reminds me of a world that is possible. And look, even adults can ride in cargo bikes! 🚴‍♀️

The possibilities of bike and pedestrian infrastructure like this in the countryside. Loving this so much. 🤩

James (now blocked) only follows women and accounts with fem names. An ironic post from him given he seems to be collecting women in his follows.

See if he’s following you and block. These accounts are so gross.

@brynntannehill.bsky.social even wrote and entire book on this, highly recommend you look it up.

When the pattern is there, anyone can make the prediction (no diss here), I noticed that the difficult part is to believe and not wave these warnings off. That where the real courage is.
