Lengua mutante is in print and includes a chapter from me on trans cultures of language (including how the negative attitudes people have towards trans ways of doing language don't hold water -ya can't do language wrong or ruin it!- & miss the brilliance and agency of trans people doing language).

This complex relationship to language and gender is not only something we can be teaching, it is something we should be teaching. It is the only ethical choice and it leads to greater contemporary literacy, among a host of benefits for everyone.

Tldr: People do language & gender in limitless ways & the sky isn't falling (don't believe fearmongering).
