I have had a pending Snapchat friend request for a while, but I wasn’t 100% sure on who it was, so I left it. I did add somebody last night and accidentally added the mystery person as well because you know 3 AM button presses. Thankfully, it was one of my old friends since primary school. 😅

It’s bittersweet this is the last week with one of my contract classes, it is always hard to say goodbye. I oddly ended up getting an old class I’ve had before, at a completely different school, later in the day. That’s never happened in my almost five years of virtual instruction.

I’m not sure what it is with The. We’re going to get snow storms vibe up here, but if we’re gonna have to have snow and cold weather, can we not have rain to ice before we decide to drop copious amounts of snow? It is slicker than snot on a door knob out there currently. It’s just winding up. ❄️

Whilst out this evening I discovered the kitten found dumped by LoKi, is headed to his purrfecct forever home next Friday. This kitty has had a trail of angels that got him to his new owner. I’m so thrilled that Archibald Von Bismarck”Archer” and Josh found each other.

My students have the option to call me by my first name, or my last name. Rarely do I have students nickname me(to my face😅). My one student calls me Rapunzel because I have long hair. I have dark brown, curly hair and find it hilarious. I’ll miss this set like crazy when the contract is up in Dec.

Gentle reminder Weather Service forçat offices are open every day, around the clock, and were understaffed before this admin. Now, further understaffed, and working like all the other Fed workers, without pay. At least it’s as simple as leaving a “1” off vs missing a dangerous storm.
