The thing about Bayhem is that it's a headache because every single shot, every single scene, acts like it is the most important shot and scene in the movie. Everything is shot for maximum impact all the time.

Nolan is making Bayhem! It's okay king! Make your Bayhem! Don't lie about what it is!

Like, he'll have what is supposed to be a quiet or intimate moment but the soundtrack is fucking screaming at me like YO, THIS SHIT'S IMPORTANT BRO. Or he'll make a pretty good, kinda trippy thriller and then spend the whole time telling you that you don't get it. He's a pop artist who hates pop!

I have such a love-hate relationship with Nolan. I think Oppenheimer really crystalized it for me. Nolan loves being mainstream, he loves making movies that make a ton of money (can't blame him), but I don't think he likes being seen as mainstream. I think he wants to be seen as challenging and bold

Genuinely great advice for anything and everything in life, not just coaching.

I mean, if his biggest sin is "Got absolutely victimized by 2024 Saquon" then that puts him in the same camp as basically every other DC that the Eagles faced in 2024.

If the season ended today and I'm a HC-needy team, he's my number one and second place isn't all that close. Absolutely phenomenal work he's done with a defense that has great pieces but not as many as you think. Consistently in the right spots, with the right gameplan, doing the right stuff!

I think it 100% remains true that there are only three kinds of teams. Ones in ascent, ones in descent, and ones in holding patterns.

No problem being in a holding pattern if you're on top, but you are still burning fuel! Gotta land eventually.

Klint has been great, but it's maybe a hair early on him? Shula has been excellent for what feels like a while now.

Definitely not just saying that because we love Klint and refuse to share.
November 24, 2025 at 5:37 PM
Why is Shula not getting nearly the amount of HC rumble it seems he should? Especially since a lot of the top guys from before the season seem to have cooled so much.

There was at the start of the year, but he's been safe for a while.

A reminder that the (alleged) reason the Seahawks traded him was because he wanted out.

Six of one, half dozen of the other.

It should be said that their OL is a full tier gap separated from second-worst in the NFL. This is one of the worst units in recent memory.

I swear to god he is the only WR who can currently hit the GL Fade on a consistent basis. 0.5% success rate for the rest of the league, 75% for him.

Top three non-Seahawk for me. Elite talent, nicest guy.

Hiring (and then likely firing) your son as your OL coach?

That was 100% a trap game and you're just fortunate that the Titans are bad enough they can't trap anybody (But the Cardinals.)

Ugly, ugly win. Do some soul-searching.

Seahawks have played a sloppy game and Cam Ward has been really really good!

Titans are just so deeply, fundamentally untalented.

I genuinely think this was always just a matter of time. Getting more comfortable with the scheme, young players getting more reps, defenses getting more banged up as the season progressed. Was never super worried about the early struggles, though they were frustrating.

Who's your top HC candidate for this offseason? Seems like all of the hotter topics from the start of the season have really taken a nosedive.
